Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing Full Time

We are seeking a dedicated and analytical Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing to join our team at TETON. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving our sales and marketing efforts, charting the course, and implementing strategies to enhance TETON's market share and brand recognition. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Senior Manager, Sales & Marketing will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in leadership and sales management. This position is accountable for delivering measurable results, surpassing revenue and margin targets, and contributing valuable insights to the sales and marketing functions, ultimately playing a vital role in our organization's overall development.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sales and marketing strategies and crafting the annual plans, along with the necessary strategies, tactics, and resources to achieve business goals.

  • Formulate strategies and tactics for increasing market share within existing accounts and markets while exploring opportunities in new verticals.

  • Provide regular reports on sales & marketing performance, market insights, and forecasts to company leadership.

  • Provide strong leadership, direction, and management to the marketing and sales team to ensure exceptional service, market differentiation, and competitive advantage.

  • Establish clear sales metrics and benchmarks for tracking progress, and implement a companywide marketing reporting function for performance analysis.

  • Collaborate with strategic partners and clients to research market needs and identify potential new product solutions.

  • Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competition to make data-driven decisions.

  • Manage the North American and local market segments.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in sales generation through leading eCommerce platforms such as Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, Walmart, etc.

  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team of professionals.

  • Design comprehensive strategies for online and offline sales channels.

  • Willingness to travel internationally based on business requirements.

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in financial analysis and adept at establishing sales and marketing budgets and action plans.

  • Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in the consumer electronics industry.

  • Strong leadership and management skills with a track record of building and leading successful sales & marketing teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of consumer electronics products and market trends.

  • Hands-on experience in strategizing and negotiating complex sales deals.

  • Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Analytical and data-driven mindset.

  • Strong problem-solving skills.

 

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
