As an Associate Researcher, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, functionality, and performance of our consumer electronics products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for embedded systems.
Conducting functional, integration, and regression testing to identify defects and performance issues.
Collaborating closely with the R&D team to understand product requirements and ensure effective test coverage.
Troubleshooting and debugging complex issues to identify root causes and propose effective solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in embedded systems, firmware development, and QA.
Detailed reporting and documentation of test results with findings.
Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance skills in embedded systems, firmware, and QA/Automation engineering.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work harmoniously with cross-functional teams.
Effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
Minimum 2/3 years’ experience in testing and quality assurance of consumer electronics products, including embedded systems.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field from any reputed public or private university.
Proficiency in basic electronics principles and microcontroller knowledge.
Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and tools.
Experience in developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work harmoniously with cross-functional teams.
Effective time management and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have the knowledge of proper documentation and reporting.
